Marching Band National Competition 2007

The 4th consecutive year Jit Sin represents Penang to marching band national competition. And once again, Jit Sin brought back silver medal. >.< Yea, tell you! I'm not satisfied with the result. This is my blog, I have the rights to express my unhappiness and dissatisfaction about the result. If it was few years back, I would accept it, but NOT for this year!

Well, I dare to say, their performance was really great. The greatest ever. If compared to the performance during state competition, that was just ewww~ They were satisfied with the performance too. Clean drills and balanced music! Yea, of course, we expected to be awarded gold, end up still a silver one. They got silver medal again!! Yes, I am proud enough to say that, they deserved gold medal! Clearly remind you here, we were not over confidence.

By the way, it's great to hear the people around praising Jit Sin. Yea, they really improved a lot, not the old-JitSin-for-the-past-3-years. Well, people around even expected us to get into top 3. What the hell?! End up when we got the score sheet, we got 6th ok?! And when we looked at the marks given by the 10 judges, one word - OMG! *You can say I'm criticising the judges, up to you.*

Our instructor off to Taiwan the day after the competition and he called back to our teacher. He told the band members not to be too sad, other bands' instructors told him Jit Sin deserved to be in top 3. Chill~ *Just to comfort us? Erm.. I don't think so as he never comfort us if we really don't deserve that.*
