9 days in Melbourne is going to an end and I'm going back Newy tonight, yes so fast I know and I didn't do much in Melbourne. All I did was meeting up with friends and eating eating and eating only!

I've been eating lots of sweet stuffs here, egg tarts, cookie puffs, taro milk tea, taro bun, crepes, es teller, black sesame rice ball, red bean/taro pancakes, ice creams, scones, San Churro churros, KokoBlack chocolate affogato, and the best part is finally I got to try Max Brenner's Belgian waffle! Awesome!

Too much sweet treats until LiYin surrendered of me and she even reckoned that I should visit Japan with so much varieties of desserts over there. Ohhhh.. I also came to realise that everything with the word "Taro" would definitely catch my attention first whenever I look at the menu. That's why I've been eating various taro flavour stuffs! ;)

All in all, I've been eating a lot in Melbourne but who cares since I'm holidaying and travelling means eating and eating, a very good excuse to eat! Trying out stuffs that I couldn't get in Newy, an even better excuse? Teehee.

Alright, I'm leaving this city and my dear LiYin in few hours' time! In fact she hopes that I can leave earlier =p Hehehehehhe. Back to Newy with my buddies tonight and we have plans upcoming already, cool? Bunch of busy buddies, nope we are just fully utilising our free time! :D

A little update from Melbourne

For the sake of updating after a long disappearance I'm now in Melbourne having my dear Liyin babeh beside me! Finally finally.. I was seriously worn out after returning from New Zealand and the first whole day walk in the Melbourne city, that was really an extreme to me and I hit bed for a whole 10 hours long sleep that night.

I hardly could find a slightly-able-to-see photo of me and Liyin in her photo album now. This is so shit man. Our unplanned-weight-gain-plan started after the very last paper back in 23 June. It's winter but winter doesn't mean it's necessary to gain those unfriendly elements in the body. How can my face be so 'pong'? Not only this I'm now having serious deteriorate skin problem now after the freezing weather in NZ and I can feel my hand is so rough. My eye bags and dark circles are......... I'm seriously speechless of how sad I look now. Words can't describe anymore. :S

How's Melb? So far so good but I'm too tired and lazy to join any day tour to visit here and there. Just simply spending the 9 days here to enjoy the city life and meet up with friends and I wanted it to be a very relaxing life for this 9 days but too much walking end up exhausting me.

And yes, resutls are out this early midnight. I survived - this is what I can say. :)

Although it's time to stop consuming excessive fats, holiday is meant to be relaxing, enjoy and eat whatever whenever wherever you want right? I shall go to get some egg tarts now maybe while waiting for Liyin to come back from working and Yes I'm home alone now.

After three months of waiting finally it's time!

After exam

What have I been up to after the exam? Seems like I'm even busier than the exam period with so many things to do and sleep even later than the normal days! No more online for the whole day, less Facebook stalking, view lesser food blogs. What I know is we've been eating out very frequently that now we have eggs, vege, bread and milk in the fridge to be cleared before we left for holiday.

Attended Jun Shoong's farewell and advanced birthday party who is going back to KL to finish his degree.

A belated surprise birthday celebration for Petrina who turned 21 on the first day of her exam. Although Pet's birthday falls on the typical exam period we never forget to celebrate for her after the exam and we kept this as a surprise for her. She is so cute and so blur that she wasn't sure whether is she the one when we sang her birthday song!

Holiday has officially started but one month seems to be not enough for me :S and I really hate the outbreak of swine flu which is ruining our plan and more precautions needed for the vacation! Masks, hand gel, vitamins....... Duhhh!

MELBOURNE!!! Should I, shouldn't I? Although I've kinda made up my mind to proceed with my plan I'm still struggling with myself whether is this a good choice. No matter what's my last decision I shall not regret, this is what I know. ARGHHH!

I did mention before, the week before the exams started when everybody was in swot vac busy preparing for the exams that are driving people nuts I was instead having too much of fun here. Remember? Yes yes I did. ;) Because we have guests here in Newy at that very wrong timing! Throwing books away in exchange for the whole week of fun and laughters, that's what I traded for, with no regrets of course! Hehehe yes I'm a person who is willing to sacrifice anything for fun and of course provided that I weigh and balance it. Apparently the wrong timing didn't make any difference to me because we were all buried in the joy and almost lost hehehe.

We brought them to Port Stephens (Again? Yah I know again, because where else can you go in Newy if you don't bring your guests to this more-tourism-scenic-places). So basically this is the 3rd time I paid a visit to Port Stephens within this four months here.

Hua needs no more explanation, she always appears to be in the photos too frequently I would say hahhaha. Eric and Arthur flew all the way from Penang and met up with Mao for 3 weeks vacations in Australia and Newy is one of their stops. Err... I should warn you that you might see some very pattern and lo heng photos. They are just way too pattern very very pattern. Buwahahahha.

The next day we went to Hunter Valley. Talking about Hunter Valley, it's all about wine tasting, wine tasting and wine tasting, with occasionally you will find some small cheese factory and chocolate factory. But still, wine tasting is the main attraction of Hunter Valley.

The very first question when we approached them was, "Who's the driver?"

Yes mind you I was the driver! Thanks to Cien for lending us her car so that we didn't have to dump few hundred bucks to rent the car for few days. And never could I imagine myself for driving manual nowadays heheheh yes I managed to do it here but in Penang wise I guess more guts are needed. Only the t-junction outside my house would have driven me crazy sometimes. :S

Okay, back to the topic. Yes, Hunter Valley.

We also joined the Winery Tour. To be frank I was very concentrating at first but when it dragged longer I started to feel boring and not listening anymore but at least I got to see not only wine bottles for this Hunter Valley visit, I saw some "backstage scenes" of wine production too. Hehehehe.

I tell you not only girls love to take pictures but these guys really love to take pictures. On top of that, so much more of patterns too! Posing here and there, this angle and that angle, this scenery is nicer than that one, this position and that position, look here and look there, smile or act cool...... and much more! That's why I say this is a bunch of pattern people! :D

Apart from visiting Port Stephens and Hunter Valley which are fairly far from Newy that takes 45 mins drive, we brought them to the city for a lunch in Goldbergs' which we think they serve really great food, in a great portion too! Yummy yummy~ After lunch we had our photoshoot session again at Nobby's Beach in the city. Set the camera with 10 seconds timer and we just act on our own. Walking towards the camera and laughed ourselves pretending that there wasn't camera capturing us and we were like so enjoying. So pattern I tell you!!! Hahahhaha. Okay maye I'm just self-highing here.

Survived

Thank God I'm still alive, yah I know this is a bit exaggerating. Hmm not going to talk about how were the exams *skip skip skip* over means over, it doesn't worth my strength to review. Buwahahhahahha. I feel so blank now that I don't know what should I say. Pure blank, blank and blank. So empty minded now.

So, did I miss anything?

A very belated post on Jas's 21st birthday celebration which was... last month. All photos of that night had up on Facebook weeks ago except those that were in my camera, I only uploaded the photos just now. Just now just now just now, right after I came home after the exam. Hehehehe. An awesome surprise birthday party for Jas that night with great food and great people around. :) 

Anyway we have bought the Transformers 2 ticket in advance for tomorrow night premier show, I just simply adore our efficiency in celebrating the end of battles and the beginning of party time!

Just to let you know again, it's time for party, it's time for great food and it's time for rewarding ourselves with beauty sleep that never wakes up by the alarm clock!
