A Visit to Port Stephens

This is a must place to visit in Newy! I've no regrets I made it to wake up at freaking 6am the next day I came back from Sydney to visit this awesome place that took us around 45mins drive to reach with too much of scenic views and spots I would say!  Awwww definitely fall in love with this place! The sceneries are amazingly attractive and how I wish I could stay for a longer time there. 

Ohh one thing to mention, Ken came all the way from Brisbane to visit Newy, which rarely people would choose to travel compare to the other big cities! This, I would say, is the main reason why we visited Port Stephens else we would have no motivation to explore.

We stopped by spot by spot according to the map and kept flashing the camera till we were satisfied. You will feel wasted if you don't capture more of the scenes and every single moment is so crucial before the sun rises.

The royal families and classy elite have shark fins and bird nest soup for breakfast and in not-so-contrast we have fresh oysters and shrimps for breakfast instead! Extra thumbs up for the sweet juicy fresh jumbo rock oysters, I had a total of 8 oysters early in the morning at 9! But Ken had 20 instead, cool! No-toilet-running after that, this shows how fresh are the oysters and how well-cope is my stomach. xD

People now you can visit Newy, it's not as bored as I assumed in the past. :)

Easter in Sydney

Sydney Royal Easter Show - the one I missed last year but definitely not again for this year. It's probably the last year I'll be in NSW and who knows what's my plan after this, I shouldn't miss the opportunity to anywhere or any event which is worth going else I would regret maybe. 

So last Monday I made it to the Easter Show and I've my dear Xinyun to come along too! :) But she hated it because of the rain!

I did enjoy the Easter Show but it would definitely be much more fun if it wasn't raining that day. Pictures get lesser and lesser when it started to rain. :( The heavy downpour didn't affect me that much.. I were in shorts and slipper which was definitely a more than perfect decision!

But when it came to photo time, we didn't really care that much but ran into the rain to take a shot and in a second we were back under the umbrella. That's how me and Hua took the photo with the fountain. xD

Some highlights of my 3D2N trip down to Sydney!

• Met up with Phey Shan the bimbo at Darling Harbour Lindt Cafe. Oops she said Sydney is better in shopping than Melbourne! How true is that? I'll know when I visit Melb this winter buwahahah!

• Ice cream in a oversized glass/cup/bowl/whatsoever and waffle we had at dunno-what-name-shop.

Oh my face looks slightly t.a.j.a.m. here :)

• The best iPhone promoters self-declared by me. This was strongly argued by Seang Yik in my Facebook photo comment box, he said we would definitely scare off the customers and Jobs is regret for recruiting us!

I had a not-so-tired trip to Sydney this time which I'm so pleased of, and seeing Xinyun for 3 days,
miss me not? :)

A Short Breath

Finally I have a short sneak for break after the whole unbreathable week. Right after we had enough rest during the easter break (frankly we had fun almost everyday throughout the week till the very last few days we realised we were running out of time) we have been locking in room for most of the time, no breakfast no lunch and no dinner together, and for once I missed the presence of Siang and Zhi whom we normally have dinners together, it was like - I haven't seen there for a long time, though it was only a few days' time. Everyone's meal time was seriously crap, and there were times where we only had 2 meals per day. Rarely I had a proper meal, cereals milk yoghurt toasts and oat are my favourites, they need not much time to prepare. That's how I passed the whole torturous week.

Anyway this sad week has come to an end, partially. We rewarded ourselves with consecutive dining out. :)

The one that we've been longing for...

Extra thumbs up for this Pumpkin Patch pizza, it tastes really good! Things never go perfectly, upon finishing the dish, Cien found there's one sorta flattened baby cockroach underneath the pizza on the plate. The manager, of course, apologised for the presence of the dead creatures and replaced with anything we like without charges.

But when we were about to pay, the manager actually billed us for two dishes only instead of three or four, impossibly five. I will definitely drop by again, neither they charged us generously less nor the case of cockroach is the reason, they are friendly and service service is good! Uhhmm.. customer loyalty :) although this is only my first visit.

Last week I was indulging in lots of fun and laughters in Sydney, sijglm isdjfliajhenlhalskf sghlkadfkxae the tortures are over, I'm now a temporary free bird again but I've gotta remind myself this shouldn't last for long, only days I would say. Better than no? :)

I'm happy.

I'm satisfied.

Dream beyond..

Darn. Why this came into my mind! I've my bad habit back again once it's time where I need to bury myself in notes and digest those unfamiliar stuffs. I've been browsing through food blogs for hours again!

"I always dream of having a private party with bunch of nicely dressed buddies with lots of yummilicious looking finger foods and various creative designed desserts served in a glam environment or home decorated with light colors ribbons and balloons and most importantly I shall be one of those preparing the mouth watering creatures. 
The atmosphere would be so awesome."

Because this is a wrong timing. That's why I've been thinking on stuffs beyond the boundaries, of what I should do now.

It's just a dream.

halfway revising

It's actually quite funny to find that there are actually some notes left by your friends on your paper maybe weeks ago for the corrections need to be made.

And it's sorta like a conversation.

And I only realised it the day before the test :)

I'm poisoned

This shit thing happened this morning when Hua was cooking rice by using the microwavable rice cooker, because - 18 mins for 1 cup of rice, which is supposed to be 10 mins only. Hehehhe =p The burnt smell was so strong in the house and we hardly could breathe.

We laughed instead. Now we know, things could get burnt by microwave! :D

But soon I found it smells like the chicken pot rice with the slightly burnt rice at the bottom. @@ Crazy or not.

Fyi, the black hole thing is the burnt rice :) 

My Easter break has been so wonderful, functions and outings almost everyday. Firstly the updated beach outing, followed by the 3 days 2 nights trip in Sydney and the Easter Show, and the scenic view early in the morning at Port Stephens right after the day I came back from Sydney. Continuous fun, fun and fun! I'm exhausted but who cares, it's the fun that matters! For the first time, I dozed off at 10.30pm last night.

And.. we will be having steamboat at home later at night.

I'm busy again, or I should say continue busying! Lots to update after next week, with uncountable photos I hope :) stay tuned.

I LOVE THIS EASTER BREAK, except the upcoming days. Poisoned with joy and the burnt.
